Article 39.2 of the Road Traffic Code is vague and creates problems. Specifically, it states: If, at a marked pedestrian crossing, vehicle traffic is not regulated by traffic lights or a traffic warden, drivers are obliged to approach the crossing at such a low speed as not to endanger pedestrians using it or entering it, and, if necessary, to stop their vehicle to allow pedestrians to cross. Article 39.2 of the Road Traffic Code must be corrected. In Greece, the behavior of most drivers is tragic! Many drivers are unaware that pedestrians have priority at crossings. Vehicles must stop before the crossing, as if there were a red light. The article must be amended and, of course, enforced. <\/p>\n\n
